Money & Debt Adviser (Outreach)

Salary depending on experience; £25,912 - £29,148 p.a.
35 hours per week, Mondays – Fridays
40 days holiday (including public holidays) per year

Applications are invited for an experienced Money & Debt Adviser to advise on welfare benefits, income maximisation, debt management and sustaining accommodation.   
The successful applicant will be part of a team working from base and mainly in outreach locations for homelessness activity within the city.   It is essential to have a thorough knowledge of the benefits system and experience in Debt Management to Type II.  A proven record of case work in Money Advice with vulnerable clients is required.   
The post holder will be expected to deal effectively and efficiently with vulnerable clients, maintain full case records, statistics and reports.
Due to the locations a car user would be an advantage but not essential.
